SNORKELING AND CLIFF JUMPING TOURS - M/B Krsko

  • Price 55 - 60 €

No planned dates yet.

Come and enjoy a full-day excursion, enjoy the clean and clear sea of the Lošinj archipelago and visit the surrounding islands.

The Krško ship will depart from the port of Mali Lošinj, right in the centre. The first stop will be in the beautiful Balvanida Bay, located there on the western coast of the island of Lošinj, which is also well protected from all types of wind. Beautiful clear sea and striking rocks surrounding it are an ideal place for diving and swimming in the sea.

After swimming, we continue on to the island of Ilovik, the island where the settlement of the same name Ilovik is located, also known as the Flower Island.

The oldest traces of settlement come from the Illyrian tribe Liburna. The island is rich in Roman remains. We come across the remains of walls, numismatic finds, a sarcophagus and there is also a maritime archaeological site nearby. Because of its location in antiquity, it was also later very important in trade along the Adriatic coast due to the channel between the islands of Ilovik and Sv. Petar, as they were called in the past under a common name, first as Neumae Insulae (neuma means 'sign' in Greek), and since the 13th century as Sanctus Petrus de Nimbis or in the later Venetian version, San Pietro dei Nembi.

The next stop is immediately opposite Ilovik, the islet of Sv. Petar and swim in a beautiful bay.

The continuation of the excursion leads to the island of Orjule, an islet surrounded by beautiful white sand. Remains of a few buildings still exist on the island of Male Orjule, and lime was otherwise produced here.

After swimming, we return to Mali Lošinj.

The duration of the excursion is from 10:00 to 17:00.

Equipment: bring a swimming costume, towel, diving equipment and good will!
